When she finally stumbled away from the burial site her mind was clouded with the jumble of emotions that swarmed her mind. She knew that she had to move on with her life, but she had just lost the most important people in her life, and living without them felt plain wrong. In one catastrophic moment, she had lost her brother, Jem; her father, Atticus; and her husband, Dill.

The cars line up and begin to explode.
The shrapnel tears through the air,
cutting down any pedestrians
that happen to be in their paths of destruction.
Heads are freed from their bodies,
and mirrors shatter int he distance.
The earth divides,
swallowing all traces of the recent catastrophe.
The area is re-populated,
and the chaos moves on
to locate its next victims.
A man steps on a crack,
and the crunch of bones is heard.
A woman's scream pushes a man under a ladder.
A Piano falls from a nearby building
and crushes him for his misdemeanor.
Only the dead will remember
